The rock dump has a 1000 square foot multi-use studio available for for meetings, yoga classes, dance lessons, and special functions. The space rents out at $100/day or $40/hour - special rates are available for longer-term agreements or custom arrangements. We encourage you to come by and check out one of Juneau's most versatile mult-use spaces - it is another of the Rock Dump's secret gems!

Below are some of the common uses of the space, but we can get creative if you have other ideas. You can arrange to use the space any time of day; just contact us with your ideas and we'll work something out.

During normal gym operations, the studio is set up as a lightweight fitness center. We have some simple exercise machines, free-weights, mats and other workout equipment available for our members to use as part of their climbing workout.

Our most common studio rental is for yoga and dance classes. The studio space has a glass door that helps keep gym noise out and studio noise in. The space has light-colored laminate wood flooring that cleans easily and is perfect for yoga, dance, tai chi, or whatever class you may have in mind.

The studio is great for meditation retreats, yoga retreats, massage retreats or any other kind of multi-day program. Companies like the studio space for a number of reasons: it is a big and interesting space, it has classy looking flooring, folding chairs and tables, and access to men's and women's restrooms.

The space is good for multi-day trainings because you can set up and leave your things in place, locked up and undisturbed overnight.

We have hosted slideshows, movies, and other presentations. A white board, projector, and other tools are available with advance notice.

Photographers rejoice! The Rock Dump is home to Juneau's only public photo studio fully equipped with studio drapes, mounts, flashes and other professional lighting equipment. We have a wide library of photography equipment available for rent; if you are interested in setting up a phtoto shoot, get in touch with us and we will get you a price quote for your project.

We have a huge bouncy house that we can blow up in the studio for kids under 12. It is just like at the carnival when you were a kid and it is a blast! This is a popular add-on for kids birthday parties.
